Creative Youth Boot Camp – Art for Social Transformation is a FREE six-week training program for Nigerian youths aged 16 – 25 years old gifted in the Creative Arts.

This program will give young people the opportunity to learn communication, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, team building, entrepreneurship and project management skills that will prepare them for the work place.

After the boot camp, trainees will be matched with mentors and placed on internships with creative and corporate organizations in Abuja.



There’s no discrimination against tribes, ethnicity, gender or religion. However, applicants must be;

  1. Aged 16-25 years old
  2. Able to read and write in English
  3. Able to showcase a creative talent
  4. From a disadvantaged community or low income background

*Young people living with any form of physical disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Is there a registration fee?

No!  The Creative Youth Boot Camp is absolutely free. No registration fee required to apply.

Is the Creative Youth Boot Camp a competition?

No, the Street Project Foundation Creative Youth Boot Camp is not a competition. It is a capacity building initiative that helps young people gifted in the creative arts develop skills that will facilitate opportunities for employment and enterprise development. 

I do not live in Abuja, can I apply?

As long as you are a Nigerian citizen aged 16 to 25 years old, you are eligible to apply for this program.  There is no provision of accommodation for those who reside outside Abuja. If you are selected for the program, you will be responsible for securing accommodation in Abuja at your own cost. 

Since auditions will also take place in Enugu, will the Creative Youth Boot Camp be held in Enugu too?

No, Street Project Foundation Creative Youth Boot Camp will not take place in Enugu. The location for the boot camp is Abuja.

Yes, Auditions will also take place in Enugu. However, selected participants will be responsible for their transportation to Abuja and accommodation will be at their own cost too.

What is the benefit of the Creative Youth Boot Camp?

It is a safe space for youth who are talented in music, dance, drama, visual arts, poetry, spoken word, comedy, creative writing and fashion. It gives young people like you the freedom and confidence to express yourself 100%.  In the process, you will sharpen your communication, presentation, team building, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, entrepreneurship and project management skills that are necessary for securing a job or starting your own business.

In addition, you will get the opportunity to be matched with mentors and placed on internships after the six-week boot camp. All facilitators are top men and women in the thriving creative industry in Nigeria. 

I am a person living with disabilities, can I apply?

Absolutely!  Talented young people aged 16-25 years old living with any form of physical disabilities are encouraged to apply for this program.
