Imagine a world where passion meets digital prowess, where young women go against the stereotypes and turn raw talent into thriving businesses. This is what the Digital Amazons initiative is about – a project designed by Street Project Foundation to empower female creatives aged 18-35 to become the masters of their own destinies.

Since its inception in 2019, Digital Amazons has progressively impacted the lives of 262 young women. Following a four to six-week boot camp, they master the craft of 21st-century skills like graphics design, video editing, photography, and digital marketing.
On February 15, 2024, in the bid to sustain the initiative and with the support of Women’s Win, Free Fund support, Street Project Foundation organized a special Employer Partnership Forum held at Marriot Hotel, GRA Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. The goal of this forum was the presentation of the program’s impact report and the solicitation of further support and collaboration with these private and public entities. In attendance were the Chairman of the AAAN’s Committee of Women in Advertising, Executive Secretary of WISCAR, Executive Director of ARDA Development Inc., Directors of Partnership and Enterprise Development from the Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, and the Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State representing the Commissioner of the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development among others.

On February 16, 2024, a Masterclass was organized for Alumni of the Digital Amazons program. The Masterclass was facilitated by seasoned professionals in their respective fields. Mr. Uche Anuoruo, who is a certified International Labour Organization Start and Improve your business facilitator, Jide Ogunnoiki a Digital Marketing expert, Program consultant and resource mobilization expert Mr. Ezenwa Okoro, the Chief Operations Officer of Street Project Foundation, Mrs Eduvie Olutimayin and the Founder and Lead Visionary of Street Project Foundation, Mrs. Rita Ezenwa-Okoro.





On February 17, 2024, we rounded up our activities with a pitch competition. Our goal was to award three innovative ventures with seed grants of a quarter of a million naira. After a highly competitive preliminary and semi final rounds, three Digital Amazons bagged the top prizes and twenty Digital Amazons secured consolation prizes of business registrations. With the support of Naija Youth Entrepreneurship Network (NYEN) and Foundation for Social Innovation (FSI) six Digital Amazons were awarded N50,000 each.

A big congratulations to Emy Josephs, Rachel Alajemba and Abe-Ezekiel Naomi, who claimed the top 3 positions and other Digital Amazons who secured cash prizes to jumpstart their entrepreneurial dreams.
