Just as our community programmes are reaching new heights, the sun rises again on the impact Street Project Foundation is creating within the society as a force for change and promises to amplify our efforts. The organisation has secured new funding and partnerships that will expand our work. These recent wins are more than just milestones—they are a testament to our growing movement and the shared belief that together, we can drive lasting change, reach more communities and protect vulnerable lives.
With an extended partnership from the Freedom Fund, our work to protect child domestic workers continues strong and uninterrupted. What began as a one-year commitment has blossomed into a renewed effort, supporting our efforts through the end of the year and ensuring that the impact of our work keeps growing. And that’s not all; starting January 2025, a new two-year Freedom Fund grant will enable us to expand our reach even further. Communities in Festac Town, Agboju, Oworonshoki, and Gbagada will feel more energy from our growing initiatives as we bring our efforts to protect and empower child domestic workers to their doorsteps.
And the achievements doesn’t stop there! Thanks to Karibu Foundation, we have secured funding from to launch a new arm of our ARTvocacy movement in Anambra State. This will help the organisation to bring the transformative power of arts to a new state, inspiring young people to create, advocate, and lead.
This is more than just funding—it’s a leap forward for all of us. These achievements reflect the trust our partners place in us and the growing community of supporters who believe in our mission. The future is bright, and we’re grateful to share this journey with you as we build a stronger, more vibrant community together.
