Some moments feel like a turning point—an opportunity to shape a future that’s more inclusive, peaceful, and just. On April 26, 2024, our Founder and Lead Visionary, together with our Program Consultant, had the honour of attending such a moment: an exclusive breakfast meeting with Mr. Miguel Moratinos, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) High Representative, and Mr. Juan Sell, the Spanish Ambassador to Nigeria. This event was graced by inspiring women leaders, including Professor Oby Ezekwesili and activist Aisha Yusuf, to discuss a shared vision of Women in Peace Building.
As champions of peace, women play a vital role in bridging divides, nurturing dialogue, and steering communities towards healing and understanding. This meeting set the stage for a transformative initiative centred on amplifying women’s voices in peace efforts, recognising their indispensable contributions to global harmony.
For Street Project Foundation, this aligns perfectly with our mission to create spaces where young creatives can engage in intercultural dialogue and gain skills to become ambassadors of peace. This gathering of like-minded leaders, driven by a shared passion for social transformation, is more than an event—it’s the beginning of a journey that promises lasting impact.
The path ahead is one of hope and commitment, and we are thrilled to walk it alongside such remarkable partners in peace.
